These Terms of Use (“Terms“) govern your access to and use of Dronejo.com (the “Platform“), including all courses, quizzes, educational materials, software, downloads, and services provided through the Platform.
Dronejo.com is owned and operated by Ideacrafters Group AB, a company incorporated under the laws of Sweden (“Ideacrafters“, “Dronejo“, “we“, “our“, or “us“).
By creating an account, purchasing a course, accessing our content, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms:
- Account means your registered user profile on Dronejo.com.
- Content means all text, videos, quizzes, examinations, graphics, software, downloads, documents, databases, images, trademarks, logos and other material available through the Platform.
- Course means any educational programme, lesson, video, quiz or digital learning material offered by Dronejo.
- Platform means Dronejo.com and all associated applications, software and services.
- User, “you” or “your” means any individual accessing or using the Platform.
About Dronejo
Dronejo is an independent online educational platform providing theoretical learning resources for drone pilots.
Our courses are designed to help students improve their understanding of drone regulations, aviation safety, operational procedures and examination material.
Dronejo is not:
- a government authority;
- the Swedish Transport Agency (Transportstyrelsen);
- the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA);
- an aviation regulator;
- an approved examination centre;
- a certification authority; or
- a licensing authority.
Nothing on the Platform constitutes official legal, aviation or regulatory advice.
Official regulations published by competent authorities always take precedence over our educational material.
Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into binding agreements to use the Platform.
If you are under the age required by applicable law to enter into a contract independently, you may only use the Platform with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Platform is lawful in your jurisdiction.
User Accounts
Certain features require you to create an Account.
You agree to:
- provide accurate and complete information;
- keep your information up to date;
- maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials;
- notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your Account.
Each Account is personal and may not be shared, sold, transferred, or used by multiple individuals.
We may suspend or terminate Accounts that are used fraudulently or in breach of these Terms.
Course Access and Digital Products
When you purchase a Course, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access the purchased Content.
All products provided through Dronejo are digital unless expressly stated otherwise.
Your purchase does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property.
Access may be limited by subscription terms, course duration, or other conditions specified at the time of purchase.
Educational Purpose
Dronejo exists solely to provide educational resources.
Completion of any Course or quiz does not:
- grant a drone licence;
- issue a Remote Pilot Certificate;
- provide operational authorisation;
- certify competence on behalf of any authority.
Only the relevant aviation authority or authorised examination provider may issue official qualifications.
No Guarantee of Examination Success
Although Dronejo strives to provide accurate and high-quality educational material, we do not guarantee that:
- you will pass any examination;
- you will obtain any licence or certificate;
- you will achieve any particular examination score;
- any authority will approve your application.
Your examination results depend on your own preparation, knowledge and performance.
Student Responsibilities
You remain solely responsible for:
- complying with applicable laws and regulations;
- planning and conducting drone operations safely;
- maintaining visual line of sight where required;
- assessing weather and environmental conditions;
- ensuring the airworthiness of your aircraft;
- respecting privacy and property rights;
- complying with operational limitations and airspace restrictions.
Dronejo cannot supervise or control how users apply the information provided through the Platform.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- violate applicable laws;
- infringe intellectual property rights;
- share your Account;
- copy or redistribute Course materials;
- interfere with the operation or security of the Platform;
- upload malicious software;
- use bots or automated tools to scrape Content;
- impersonate another person;
- use the Platform for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
Intellectual Property
All Content is owned by or licensed to Ideacrafters Group AB and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law, you may not:
- reproduce;
- distribute;
- publish;
- modify;
- translate;
- sell;
- sublicense;
- create derivative works from; or
- commercially exploit
any Content without our prior written permission.
Payments and Refunds
Prices are displayed on the Platform in the applicable currency and include taxes where required unless stated otherwise.
Payments are processed by secure third-party payment providers.
Refunds are governed by applicable Swedish and EU consumer protection legislation and our published refund policy.
Where permitted by law, access to digital content may begin immediately after purchase upon your request and acknowledgment that this may affect your statutory right of withdrawal.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you:
- breach these Terms;
- misuse the Platform;
- engage in fraudulent activity;
- infringe intellectual property rights;
- compromise the security or integrity of the Platform.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that have accrued before termination.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ideacrafters Group AB shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of the Platform, including examination failure, business interruption, loss of profits, loss of data, or losses resulting from drone operations.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded under mandatory Swedish or EU law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ideacrafters Group AB, its directors, employees and contractors from claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your unlawful use of the Platform, or your operation of any unmanned aircraft in violation of applicable laws.
Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, cyberattacks, governmental actions, labour disputes, internet outages or failures of third-party service providers.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden.
Mandatory consumer protection rights under Swedish and European Union law remain unaffected.
Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Sweden unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law.
The updated version will be published on the Platform with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Independent Decision-Making
Every user remains solely responsible for evaluating:

No Operational Advice
The information provided on Dronejo is educational in nature and should not be interpreted as operational approval or a recommendation to conduct any particular drone operation.
You must always make your own assessment before flying.

Compliance with Applicable Law

Users are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including but not limited to:

Where Dronejo material differs from official publications, the official publication prevails.
Manufacturer Instructions
Dronejo cannot account for the characteristics of every aircraft.
Users remain responsible for reading and following the operating instructions, maintenance requirements, software updates, and safety information provided by the aircraft manufacturer.
Flight Planning Responsibility

Before every operation, users are responsible for assessing:

weather;

wind;

visibility;

precipitation;

surrounding obstacles;

electromagnetic interference;

GNSS availability;

emergency landing areas;

battery capacity;
-
people nearby;
-
controlled airspace;

wildlife;
-
local restrictions.
No Professional Advice
Dronejo does not provide:

legal advice;
-
engineering advice;
-
aviation consultancy;

insurance advice;
-
regulatory interpretation;
-
operational authorisation.
Where professional advice is required, users should consult the relevant authority or a qualified professional.
Assumption of Risk
Drone operations involve inherent risks.
By using Dronejo, you acknowledge that operating unmanned aircraft may result in property damage, personal injury, financial loss, regulatory action, or other consequences.
You voluntarily assume those risks when operating a drone.
No Liability for User Conduct
Dronejo is not responsible for any unlawful, negligent, reckless, or unsafe conduct of users.
This includes conduct occurring:

during study;

after course completion;

during examinations;

during recreational flying;

during commercial operations.
Third-Party Equipment
- Dronejo is not responsible for:
- aircraft defects;
- software bugs;
- firmware failures;
- battery failures;
- GPS failures;
- controller failures;
- mobile device failures;
- manufacturer updates.
Examination Independence
Official examinations are administered independently of Dronejo.
Dronejo cannot influence:

examination scoring;

certification decisions;

licensing decisions;

regulatory approvals.
Limitation Regarding User Actions
You remain solely responsible for all actions performed using information obtained through Dronejo.
Ideacrafters Group AB accepts no responsibility for decisions made independently by users.
Reporting Errors
If you believe course material contains an error or has become outdated due to changes in legislation or official guidance, you agree to notify Dronejo so that we may review and, where appropriate, update the content.
Intellectual Property Protection
Users may not:

upload Dronejo content to AI systems for redistribution;

reproduce question banks;

create competing examination databases using Dronejo material;

record courses for commercial purposes;

share login credentials;
-
distribute downloadable materials publicly.
Commercial Use
Unless expressly authorised in writing, Dronejo content may not be used:

within another LMS;

by flight schools;

by training providers;

for resale;
-
for AI training datasets.
Limitation of Reliance
Users acknowledge that Dronejo is an educational aid and that official publications issued by competent authorities remain the authoritative source for regulatory requirements.
